Controlled Training Solutions (CTS) was incorporated to service the training needs of the Controlled Solutions Group. However, it rapidly expanded externally of the group to meet the growing need for quality training and qualifications within the sports, leisure and entertainment safety and security industry.

From its fully equipped training facility situated at Old Trafford Football Ground, CTS works closely with its sister companies, Controlled Events Solutions (CES) and Controlled Guarding Solutions (CGS) to develop a range of qualifications to meet sector specific requirements and recognized national occupational standards, and to ensure that the quality of the training provided enables the candidate to achieve their full potential.

CTS is also proud to offer a range of online courses leading to Security Industry Authority (SIA) recognised qualifications in event security and safety. Many of these qualifications provide the candidates with the necessary underpinning knowledge to undertake further qualifications to BTEC level or higher.

As well as possessing many years of sector experience, most of our educators also hold Post Graduate Certificates or Masters Degrees in Education.

The CTS Business Manager, Ged McKean and the company's non-executive Director of Training, Sir John Jones, oversee our training programmes and draw on their successful experience of writing bespoke motivational and teamwork courses for a diverse range of organisations, to ensure that all staff within the Controlled Solutions Group accept individual responsibility for making their contribution to the success of the clients' operation.
